The total cost for Call a Driver services is calculated based on the following components:

  • Initial Fee: $25.00 – Covers administrative costs and driver dispatch.
  • Delivery Fee: $1.00 per km – Distance driven to reach your pick-up location.
  • Return to Base Fee: $1.00 per km – Distance driven from drop-off back to base.
  • Service Distance Fee: $1.50 per km – Total distance driven excluding pick-up and return.
  • Extra Time Fee: $1.00 per minute – Time spent beyond the initial wait time allowance.

During the Ride

Yes, you can make stops during your ride with Call a Driver. Simply inform your driver of your planned stops when booking or during the ride. Keep in mind that additional time and distance may affect the total cost of the service.

If your driver is late, Call a Driver will take the following steps to address the situation:

  1. Immediate Notification: Our team will inform you of any delays as soon as possible.
  2. Real-Time Updates: You will receive real-time updates on the driver’s estimated arrival time.
  3. Alternative Arrangements: If the delay is significant, we will do our best to arrange an alternative driver for you.

 

We strive to ensure timely and reliable service, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by delays.

If you have lost an item during your ride with Call a Driver, we will do our best to help you recover it. Here’s how we handle lost and found items:

  1. Report the Lost Item: Contact us as soon as you realize you have lost an item. Provide details about the item and the specifics of your ride.
  2. Driver Inspection: Our driver will inspect the vehicle for the lost item and report back to us.
  3. Notification: If the item is found, we will notify you immediately and arrange for its return.
  4. Pick-Up or Delivery: You can either pick up the item from a designated location or request delivery, which may incur a small fee.

 

We recommend checking your belongings before leaving the vehicle to prevent items from being left behind.
