Call a Driver (CAD) Terms and Conditions
Introduction
Welcome to Call a Driver (CAD), operated by Cozy Driver (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including booking a driver to transport your vehicle and yourself to a designated destination.
By using our services (in person, over the phone, or online), you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms. We are committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring your satisfaction.
Definitions
- Service: The provision of professional drivers to drive users’ vehicles.
- User: Any individual or entity that uses our service.
- Driver: A professional driver contracted by CAD.
Acceptance of Terms
By using CAD, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. We may update these terms from time to time, and we will notify you of any changes.
Services Provided
CAD offers driver booking services for personal and professional needs. To use our service, users must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
If a user has a vehicle but does not have a valid driver’s license, they can still use Call a Driver (CAD) services under the following conditions:
- Legal Compliance: The vehicle must be legally registered and insured as required by law.
- Proof of Ownership: The user must provide proof of ownership or legal authority to use the vehicle.
- Safety Assurance: The vehicle must be in a safe and operable condition, meeting all legal requirements for road use.
By ensuring these conditions are met, we maintain the safety and legality of our services for both the user and our drivers.
Driver Responsibilities
- Licensing: All drivers employed or contracted by CAD hold the necessary licenses required by law.
- Safety: Drivers prioritize safe driving practices to ensure the safety of you and your vehicle.
- Professional Conduct: Drivers adhere to a strict code of conduct, maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor.
Customer Responsibilities
- Vehicle Condition: You must ensure your vehicle is tidy, safe to drive, and has valid registration and insurance coverage.
- Behavior: Intoxication, drug use, or abusive behavior towards the driver is not tolerated.
- Cancellation: No cancellation fees will be charged.
- Payment: You must select a valid payment method and understand the associated fees.
- Waiting Time: A charge of $1 per minute will be applied for waiting time.
Safety and Security
- Safety Priority: We prioritize the safety of both passengers and drivers.
- Service Refusal: Drivers may refuse service if a vehicle is deemed unsafe or if they encounter abusive behavior.
Liability
- Accidents: While drivers prioritize safe driving, accidents can occur. CAD and the driver are not liable for any damage, loss, or fees.
- Insurance: Comprehensive insurance coverage for your vehicle is recommended.
- Instructions: If the driver follows your instructions resulting in theft or damage, CAD will not be held responsible.

Online Bookings
- Notice Period: A minimum of 2 hours’ notice is required for online bookings.
- Booking Adjustment: The system adjusts the time 2 hours ahead. Insufficient notice may result in booking rejection.
- Route Optimization: The chosen route is based on traffic conditions, and prices may fluctuate accordingly.
Privacy Policy
- Data Collection: We collect personal information for service delivery, marketing, and customer service.
- Data Protection: Customer data is stored securely with restricted access.
- Information Sharing: Limited information may be shared with drivers, law enforcement, and debt collection agencies.
Termination
Either party may terminate the service at any time. Upon termination, any outstanding fees must be paid immediately.
